Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PDF Signature Maker app ("the App"), developed by Hugo Software Ltd. By using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. What the App does
The App lets you add a visual, hand-drawn signature image to PDF documents stored on your device and export the result. All processing happens on your device.
2. Not a certified e-signature
The App produces a visual signature stamp only. It does not create a qualified, advanced, or certified electronic signature, does not verify identity, and does not apply cryptographic signing. Whether a visually signed document is legally sufficient depends on your jurisdiction and the context — you are responsible for confirming this before relying on it.
3. Free tier and Premium subscription
- The free tier exports a watermarked copy at reduced resolution, limited to smaller documents.
- Premium is a weekly auto-renewing subscription (price shown in the App, charged through Google Play). It unlocks watermark-free export at original quality and full document capacity.
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled per Google Play's refund policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to forge signatures, misrepresent the execution of documents, or otherwise break the law. You are solely responsible for the documents you sign and share.
5. Intellectual property
The App, its design, and its branding are the property of Hugo Software Ltd. Your documents and signatures remain yours; we claim no rights over them and never receive them.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that exported documents will meet any particular legal standard.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hugo Software Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including damages arising from reliance on a visually signed document.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at this page.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
